BEAUTIFUL KEYLESS KLINE SU-12 E9/B6 7X5
-Serial number 4006
-Bright white mica Kline original single coil P/U
-7X5 E9/B6 Universal 12 string setup.
-Excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically.
-Recently (6 weeks ago) added OEM 7th pedal and had a complete mechanical set up by the Kline experts at Hummingbird Music.
The logo on the front is a sticker that I made, easily removed. I have the original.
Price reduced to $2100. plus shipping and ins.

| Mine is EXACTLY like this,,,don't remember the serial # but it is VERY close to this,,,seems like it was 4046 or ??? I was very hesitant about the white color at first but now I like it very well. This is my 4th Kline,,,I hope to never be without one! Nothing "sings" like a Kline |

I have a white Kline also. Leather texture mica though. It's neat the way it changes colors with the stage lights! Fantastic guitars! In over 20 years, I only had to make ONE adjustment at the changer, and that was due to a mislabeled string! Talk about staying in tune? Played mine 5/6 nights a week at long house gigs. Tune up on Tuesday, and only have to touch up the 3rd and 4th strings as they went South. All the other strings would stay in tune until the next total string change!
Fantastic guitars! Somebody's gonna get a great guitar.
Hummingbird comes highly recommended in my book!

This guitar is not glossy white either, Kinda matte to eggshell...maybe leather? I donno, but not glossy mica.

Yeah, "Eggshell" is a better description, but mine has an embossed leather-like pattern in the mica. |

Strings are wound around the hold down screws backwards though. Supposed to be wound around the screw counter clockwise. That way the tension of the strings keep the screws from loosening, although I've never heard of anyone having a problem after winding them the wrong way.
JB from Kline Country. ( Joe's shop was about a half hour away. Only hadda go there once when I bought the guitar though. Needed a pull changed. After that, the guitar, being perfect, never needed anything!)

The advanyage of looping the string clock-wise around the post is that the tightening of the post assists in bringing the string up-to or close to pitch. Sometimes the tightening of the post will ad an additional three or four half steps that you couldn't get using the counter clock-wise method.
It's a personal strength issue...especially when one gets older.
I play a Sierra keyless (three of 'em) and couldn't continue to restring them unless I had the advantage of the clock-wise assist. |

| Tom, that's not so with Klines. It's just the way the design works. The counter clockwise, or anti-clockwise, wind, keeps the screws tight. It's the physics of the thing. It may be different on a Sierra. There was a thread about this a few months ago. This isn't the right place to discuss this, and I guess I shouldn't have brought it up! But it was a "Bump!" |

| This guitar looks like it's built very strong. The thickness of the aprons, unless that is a photo illusion, look extremely thick. This in my mind would make a very solid guitar, and maybe add to the tone characteristics too. |

Yes, and check out the endplates! The changers stop out against the massive endplate. (very positive) And yet because of it's compact size the guitar is light for what it is. Plays and sounds great too.
