Awesome player...I met him a few years back here in Phoenix...nice guy!
He was playing with Bugs Henderson...he told me that Maurice Anderson was a personal friend and that he was building him a new MSA pedal steel...Maurice later said that he was.
Bet he's tearin' that thing up by now!! _________________ DESERT ROSE D-10 8/5...Joe Naylor "SteelSeat"...

i dunno...i guess it's ok...but i much preferred listening to the singer's guitar playing, which i thought was great.
the single note sustaining blues stuff is kind of lacking to me. i always am hoping to find a steel tuning that allows more options for some of the guitar chord voicings that make the blues sound like what it is. any ideas? |

Obviously the guy on the Strat was the star of the show but Kirby Kelly is living proof that lap steel goes beyond hillbilly and Hawaiian stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed it. |
