dunlop volume pedal battery question

Hi, can anyone tell me if my Dunlop 120 VP needs to be unplugged when not in use in order to extend battery life? Nothing in the lit that came with it seems to say. Thanks.

All battery driven fx need to be unplugged when not in use to extend battery life.
