It lasted a brief period of time. I saw Led Zeplin on their first U.S. tour there with Delaney and Bonnie when I was 17 years old. The bands tried to gouge Grahm and he closed it. The end of the Hippie period. We used to take the train in from Long Island. Then came Disco and I sold out to play 3rd Ave. bars. |

the first time we hit the Fillmore in San Francisco was in 1969 & we got a heck of a welcome
Chambers Brothers, Big Brother & the Holding Co, & us, Crazy World of Arthur Brown
once we got the gear set up & sound check done, we went to the dressing room for a break & indulged in the liquid entertainement
we were flyin' high for 2 days !
talk about bein done up & our show nevertheless went without a hitch
i never really understood how it did but it did |
