All right... I've got this steel, and I don't have to get rid of it. I would like to check out Universal tuning, or a D-10. I'm willing to trade, plus i've a little bit of cash saved up, or I'll sell outright for $1400 or best offer. Has a case, but it came without a handle, so I just sling her over my shoulder like a kid from the 80s with a ghetto blaster. No tears in the tolex, has a leg bag. Buyer pays shipping, unless you live in Austin. Then I'll drive it to you. And if you'll be in Ft. Worth from the 16th-24th... well so will I, and so will this steel. Again, I'm really itching to check out U-12, or even U-14, or a D-10.

I have an MSA Universal 12 up in Leander, are you interested in a little trading?

Wow, We have had a complete misunderstanding Phil. I've deleted my previous post out of respect for your sale.

Misunderstandings happen, it's no big deal at all.

Maybe some day we'll laugh about it over a couple of drinks.

Just got back from directing a rock and roll camp, and it was awesome. My fifth summer doing it around the country. But boy am I tired.

Here's the deal, the company stinks and is getting worse.

My pay might be delayed till late august, so if anyone is looking at a trade, plus maybe a couple hundred in your favor, that I can swing.

If it's more, i've got a Music Man RD 112 50 watt in an anvil road case. It's my main amp to play steel through, but I've got a 66 ampeg gemini II that I also like playing through, and I'm just a hack anyway.

Anyhow...

1. I'm not in any rush. I'm learning new things on my steel every day and having the time of my life.

2. I want whoever it ends up with to feel like they got a fair deal... I guess that makes point #1 a good thing.

Darvin, want to get together anytime in the next few days and check each others steels out?

Also, Dale Ware is a wonderful guy with wonderful steels for sale at a fair price, but do yourself a favor and visit him sometime. Your life will definitely be enriched.
