Hey Guys,
I've got an old school Mica MSA Classic D-10 and I need to put it up for sale shortly (got a new steel). It's got volume and tone knobs, but unfortunately they stick out a bit and bang against the case when taken in and out.
Anyways, the volume pot is damaged and needs to be replaced. Where does one go about finding a replacement part and how do I get the right one? I'm not sure I'm going to be able to measure the pot impedance range in it's current state.
Thanks in advance for any pointers.
Regards,

I took them out and plugged the holes on all of my Classics, they are kind of useless anyway. You have a volume pedal, and are usually sitting close to your amp to make EQ adjustments. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |
