I have a very early student model GFI with three and three. It is serial # 035 and was bought new in 1979 by a local musician. I got the guitar from his widow and it is very clean for its age. It plays well and has the original case and leg bag. The hinges of the case are rusty but work well. The price is $750 shipped in the lower 48 with additional shipping charges to other areas. I had no idea that Gene F was making GFI guitars that long ago. When did he start making them? |

| I don't really know but I would suspect that this was the first or second year of production. According the the people at GFI they only made student models in the early years. Thanks for asking, Dale |
