This is probably a shot in the dark, but here goes.

I have an old Pacer that is a great sounding amp, but gradually developed an AC hum, so I decided to change the filter caps. I got in a hurry and removed the old caps before I noted the polarity. Would anyone happen to have an old chassis laying around, or a picture that you could check to see how the caps are placed on the board? There were at least a couple of board layouts for this amp, this one has the caps parallel with the short side of the board, there is another version with the caps parallel to the long side of the board.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

email me your email address and I can send the two versions of the schematics. There are no board layouts, just the schematics
