Well after a good long wait she is finally in, and all I can say is AMEN! What a guitar! When I first opened the case I was amazed at how good it looked. When I got it home I was floored at the incredible tonefulness of the guitar. And well built? Very much so - Gary doesn't miss a single point in his guitars. I could not be more pleased........ Jim

Jim that sure is a beauty. Gary called me this afternoon,
and told me he got it finished and you already had it.
I'm sure you're going to enjoy it, as much as I do mine.
Since I got mine, everyone tells me I play a lot better.
Wish you all the enjoyment and super picking with it. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Welcome to the Ritt family Jim, 9x9 wow Gary told me it had 54 pulls on it. Thats about as loaded as they get. The more you play it the more you'll like it.
Mine has the best tone I've ever heard and just keeps getting better.
Again welcome to the club, that's an awesome Steel.
And Gary will take good care of you.

I'm here to testify that Jim did in fact get himself a great guitar! I got to briefly play it on Saturday, and I can honestly say it's one of the nicest steel guitars I've ever seen. Punchy and bright, yet big round warm tones, all in one gorgeous and easy to play package.

Way to go Jim!

As requested here a pics of the back & undercarriage.
My copedant consists of Paul Franklin's changes and a few recommended by the incomparable Rick Schmidt (thanks bud!). The majority of the changes are on the C6 neck.

If you email me I will reply with the Excel spreadsheet. Jim

I should add that the workmanship on the underside is every bit as stellar as the top! This bird really sings - and in tune! Thanks Gary - I owe you!

I think I'm about ready for my third Rittenberry. I want Gary to wow the steel guitar community with a SD-U12 very soon. I have been in love with the Rittenberry now for several years. My latest is a 2008 SD-10 in black mica with sound to die for.

Now, if I could just steel, I mean steal some of Roger Crawford's speed picking, I'd be a happier man![/b]

Hey Dennis, just have Gary program the speed licks into your guitar. That's what I did!

I can't vouch for that but I can attest to the fact that Gary builds TONE into his guitars. Everyine who has heard this guitar has fallen in love with it.
