I'm normally satisfied with the sound and simplicity of the reverb in my amp, but I am thinking of buying a stomp box reverb just for the odd occasion where you are playing on a trailer or something that is shaking around so much it makes your reverb go off. What do you suggest? I'm thinking about the Boss "Fender Reverb". |

I use an EH Holy Grail Nano. It's little and works great.

Danny....I have been really pleased with the Boss FRV-1, tone is warmer than other pedals I've tried. |

+3 on the Fender FRV-1. It's permanently in my pedalboard. _________________ On man....let the smoke out of another one. |

i have to agree with the majority here, the BOSS FRV-1 pedal is superb, you may find you will never go back to your amp reverb, not too severe on batteries, but a boss adaptor will pay for itself in a short space of time over batteries, i have a peavey nashville 112, but i find the frv-1 far superior sounding than the n112 reverb, _________________ There are no strangers, only friends you have yet to meet |

The Malekko Spring Chicken is a great reverb. It's discontinued but the Chicklet is their latest version and it gets good reviews. |

Thanks for your opinions. I have a Boss FRV-1 on the way. Have had good luck with Boss pedals. |

I like the Hardwire rv 7 by digitech is my choice. It has the Lexicon chip and really adds deep dimension to
the sound of your steel .. without coloring your tone. |

I was using the reverb in my Peavey amp and a Boss DD-3 delay, but recently replaced them both with an older Boss RV-3. It does both very well. I just leave it on the reverb and delay preset, and dial the delay time where I need it. By turning the delay time all the way left (fast), it is essentially off, since its so fast (at just a few milliseconds) that its not even a slapback, so just reverb is heard. The reverb sounds much better than the tank in the amp.

Got the Boss pedal. Have spent maybe a hour with it. I thinks it's gonna be just fine. Anybody want to share your settings? |

I like my Wet Reverb pedal but it's not for everyone. _________________ To write with a broken pencil is pointless. |

I have the Songwoks Little Lanelei reverb pedal and,
although it HAS good old springs in it,a remote is
provided w/ it so the unit itself can rest safely on
a comfy cushion...there´s nothing like genuine springs
for a certain type of reverb sound...like "Surf Steel
Guitar"...McUtsi |
