Back in the 1950-60's, instrumentals were a key element in any band's song list. Most often, these two guitar or 3-part (with the addition of the fiddle), instrumentals were put together on the stage and live from the bandstand. Often the steel would take the melody line and the lead-guitar would take the 2nd part with fiddle grabbing the 3rd part.

There were no hours or weeks of rehersal that we hear so much about today.

The crowd always liked it and it always presented a challenge to the band members.

In this rendition of "Minuete in Swing".......can any of you tell where I used the pedal. The tuning was C6th raised two WHOLE TONES. (E6th?????)

The song can be heard on Ray's CD's page. The controller/player is at the bottome of the page.
