When did Carpsteel stop making Pedal Steel Guitars?

I talked to Carp a coupla weeks ago & he told me he quit making them about a month ago. Sold the line to some body who will be making them under the Legend brand. Bob Hofnar had one for sale on the forum recently.Maybe he can tell us more.
