Does anyone know how much Cain amplifiers are going for these days? (Kenny Cain built steel guitar amps back in the 70's and from what I hear he was instrumental in the production of Evans amps (not positive on the latter)) Just curious. Thanks for any info.

I had a CAIN amp from 1970 - 1983. It was a single cahnnel with a tremelo. He was with SHO-BUD, and the SHO-BUD single channel amps, which I have now, are the same a the CAIN amp. I do not know if he worked for SHO-Bud before he built the CAIN amp or afterwards.

There have been some of the Cain / SHO-BUD amps for sale recently on the Forum.

They are great amps, very clean, clear reverb, and very light weight.

Thanx,
Jim

PS - The amps are in the $400 - $700 range depending on condition and speaker config.
