I'm going to go ahead and post this to test the waters. I've got it up and playing with a couple setup tweaks still to go. The story on this guitar is as follows:

Back in 1976, when I owned a music store, I traded for the back neck and pedals, etc. from a customer's Pro II and being a dealer, called Shot Jackson for the parts I needed to make a guitar. He sent me Lloyd Green endplates, legs, pedal bar, and some knee levers. We built the cabinet from New York hard rock maple to the specs of the original and put the whole thing together.George Lewis saw it on a sales trip and was nice enough to send a decal when he got back to Nashville. I learned to play on this guitar but when I decided to get a PP Emmons, I sold it to a friend in a local top 40 band who kept it until earlier this year when, due to health reasons,he approached me about buying it back which I did. It had been in storage and not well taken care of so I decided to refurbish it. I posted photos on a thread on the "Steel Guitar" section of the forum about the rebuild.

I had it professionally stripped and I finished it with an antique amber color (pretty good spray can in the driveway finish). I polished the metal parts the best I could with what I had - it's not as good as a professional polisher but that wasn't in the budget. The pedal bar is rough and needs sanded and buffed out. The undercarriage is all original with the exception of 4 of James Moorehead's new pullers. The LKR is not connected as I do not have the rods. I have also installed all new nylon tuning nuts and there are extras in the case. The guitar has the original pickup which works just fine. All the lower return springs are new and the raise helper springs are new but not installed. The case is rough but adequate.

I'm asking $1250.00 plus shipping and PayPal fees.
It should be ready to ship out by this time next week. PM or E-mail me with any questions.

Here's a photo and link to the rebuild:
