This lovely tune, a great love song, was composed and first sung by Garth Brooks, then by Ronan Keating. Hank Marvin played it beautifully as an instrumental in his album "Guitar Player".
This is a steel guitar version. Played on Steelocaster A6 tuning, key of Bb. The first part has the bridge pick-up selected and the second (softer) part has the bridge and middle pick-ups selected.
Lap steel, lead and rhythm guitars and sampler keyboard tracks played by me and overlaid on a commercially available BT.

I enjoyed that very much Kay, the two pickups selected actually sounded brighter than the bridge pickup alone.

And here is Hank Marvin's version; this is my favourite.

Some of you may agree with me that this is one instance in which a Stratocaster and lap steel guitar (in this case my Steelocaster) find a bit of a confluence..
Enjoy!

PS: I found the video a bit cheesy so I turned the screen off...and listened to the audio only. |
