I haven't been around much lately, but wanted to share my new project. I'm doing the Steve Howe duties in a Yes tribute band. So far the Dual 6 is getting quite a workout on Siberian Khatru and And You And I. Eventually Going For The One and several other Yes "Steel" songs will be added. What a blast. Howe's style is somewhat simplistic in that he uses lots of long single string lines, but when you can get the touch, tone and taste that he brings to the steel, it kills.

I have a Fender Stringmaster D-6, 1956. Which tunings do you use?

Hi Robert, Right now I'm using an open E for the close neck, and the far neck is in some weird thing I came up with. I also tune the far neck to standard guitar tuning for soloing sometimes. What are doing with yours tuning wise?

Front neck is A11 lo 2 hi AC#EGBD. I use more single coil blend on this one. Back neck C6 CEGACE and I use more humbucker on that neck.
