| I want to apologize to anyone who gets an e-mail from papasteel@hotmail asking for money! My Hotmail account was hacked this weekend and i'm working with Microsoft to get it back. |

If your Hotmail account was hacked due to a weak password, be sure you create a new, more unguessable one. Use a combination of upper and lower case letters and some numbers. Don't use words found in a common dictionary, as many email and FTP account hacks are done with a dictionary attack.
If the account had a strong password, your computer might be compromised with a keylogger. This is hidden software that intercepts keystrokes to login pages and sends them home to the Mothership. You should scan all of your PCs for keyloggers and other malware, before resetting your email password. Here are links to some excellent scanners:

Don't neglect the scans for malware and keyloggers.
