Check out my "new" 1975 Emmons. It sounds terrific. Now not only has it been touched by "The Man" Adams when he rebuilt it and set it up, it has his name on it too!!

I hope it sounds really good.
I am sure it does.
He is a very talented steel guitar player.
Very good I must say.
I have his recordings ,and they are a pleasure to listen too.I understand he sometimes has up to seven (all Emmons ) guitars at his home at one time.
He did work at Emmons for a long time, and I hear he is the man.
Beautiful guitar by the way.

Hi Charles, great looking Emmons, maybe I'll get to hear it if you all have another steel-in in Kingsport. I'd sure like to come down and pick some. ah _________________ Mullen (Black) Pre G-2 9x7, B.L. 705 PUP's, Evans SE 200 Telonics NEO 15-4, BJS Bar, Peterson Strobo Flip, Steelers Choice Seat, Folgers Coffee and Hilton Pedals.

Charles, nice looking Emmons you got there. Bryan Adams has built several for me over the years. I don't even need to hear it to know it's a great sounding guitar....Bryan wouldn't have sold it to you unless it was!
Send me a sound clip when you get the time. Tell BA I said hello when you see him. |

I've heard it and it sounds great. I "had" a push pull that Bryan built in 82 or 83 and it was a good guitar. I wish I still had it.

Bryan has rebuilt 7 pushpulls for me and they all were great. I agree with the others, in my opinion he is the best builder in the world. |

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes the tone of this guitar really excites me. And you almost never have to tune it! Ole Bryan really fixed me up with a keeper... _________________ Charlie Powell |

BA! You got stickers now? COOL! Gotta have one for mine! It's still going strong and still plays as good as it did when I got it back from you in August or September of 2003! If anyone out there is thinking of getting your Emmons redone or just tweaked out properly, give BA a call! |

I have to chime in here. Bryan really has a knack for recognizing a keeper Emmons PP regardless how it looks or it's condition before he works his magic on it. I was with Charlie and Mike at Bryans house when he showed us this killer PP he had just acquired. Our eyes about popped out at the tone. I think it's one of the best PP I ever heard - and it plays great. I would be proud too Charlie. (By the way, that PP and the Fender Twin need to be joined at the hip.) |

David is right, the first time we saw this guitar, the tone was great, but it looked real rough, nothing close to what it looks like now. I'll tell you Bryan's restoration on this guitar was nothing short of phenomenal. _________________ Charlie Powell |
