I get a call this morning from a guy who says a friend of his wanted to unload a steel guitar after closing his pawn shop after 30 years...So he buys it, and an Evans FET 500 amplifier...for 400.00....Yep...400.00
He brought it to me...I said sure I can clean it up...its filthy...250.00...He didn't want to spend another 50% on his investment...It took a lot of convincing...unbelievable...Hasn't been touched in 23 years...A lacquer 1985 Mullen D10 8+6...Sounds like HEAVEN!...And plays like butter after the teardown and rebuild...Pics coming..[img][/img]

Ask him if he want to double his investment. If he does, let me know.

I sincerely do appreciate the sentiment, David ... I think my old Mullen's got lots of life left in her, though. Smile Mickey did a wonderful job on it when we "rebuilt" her and she plays and sounds great. Smile

I'm eager, like everyone else though, to see photos of that old 1985 guitar Mickey redid ... I know it'll be a beauty. Mickey does good work. Smile
