I heard something about a Blue Grass Festival next month in Louisville Ky. Dont have the date on it yet , Wonder how many of these old Dobro pickers know about this or have the correct date .

This should be a real blowout. If you know the exact date please post it .

Yes, this is the annual Bluegrass Festival that is hosted by the the International Bluegrass Music Association. The thing runs the whole week of Sept 29 - Oct 5, with the IBMA Awards Show in the middle of that on the night of October 2.

And you're right, it is quite a blow-out - the hub of the action is the old Galt House hotel in downtown Louisville right on the Ohio River. There is great pickin going on all-day, all-night all over that hotel the whole week long - folks from all over the country. You can find out all the details at www.ibma.org
