If you change the internal speaker from the 4 ohm to an 8 ohm you can then run an external speaker. |

Alan...A suggestion...as an alternative to changing the speaker in your Nashville to an 8 ohm (thereby reducing its power output), you might try a Tech 21 Power Engine 60. These are a 60 watt power amp only unit with a 12" speaker that you can slave from the Peavey and utilize the 112's EQ for both. (An added bonus, both amps are identical in size so they look good together on stage, even the covers are interchangeable). I use this setup on occasion and it really sounds great...Note: I did change the speaker in the Tech 21 however for one that is voiced more for steel guitar. |

As long as you use an external power amp, you can patch from the preamp out on the rear panel of the 112 to the ext. amp, then to an identical 4 ohm speaker. I believe that the part number for the speaker is 30777234(but don't quote me as I am not at work!). That way, the voicing is identical. Just a thought. |

You could just use another N112. Then you get 80 watts each and can patch them together for a nice full sound. _________________ 1999 Carter D10 (9x8),Digitech RP150,Hilton Volume Pedal,Roland Cube 80XL,Nashville 112,BJS Bar |
