Update   Tyler is working with Troy Olson, a new act on the scene in Nashville. They have rehersed and did a showcase for the top record executives and some of the top DJs in the country field.
Way to go kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend and buddy Tyler Hall has left Branson for Nashville. He left with a 35 foot trailer and his little biddy pickup. I didn't believe he had that much stuff at my place, and the trailer was full!!!!!!!!!!!
He will be working the Riverfront Saturday in Nashville about 12:00 noon with Mel Tillis, then they work the Opry Saturday night.
He is then headed to parts to be determined later for a peaceful rest.
After taking care of me for the past 5 weeks while I recooped from neck surgery, and playing for me with Mel too, he deserves it. I can get cranky sometimes you know. Then Wednesday he starts rehersal with a new act. I can't tell you his name because I forgot it. Imagine that.
I think Tyler "The Kid" Hall, has a great future in the music business. He is one hell of a steel player and also plays great guitar, bass and piano, didn't know that did you????
While Tyler was here for the past 4 years we became very close, I told him when he left it was like another son leaving home. I wish him the very best in everything he tries and "Tyler dont lose your key to the house, you have a place here whenever you want".

Terry what a great man you are for passing on the Torch (so to speak) . with guys like you out there the steel guitar has hope of being passed down and not forgotten with the times. you molded tyler into a fine steel player and helped im sure mold him into a decent respectful young man . i know you must be feelin a little sad to see him go . we all are but now maby some of us can get a job here in Branson  . Terry remember im just down the street call me if you need anything . tyler if your reading this good luck man and be careful call us peon's from time to time and let us know whats up .

Terry I hope your neck is feeling better. Thanks for what you do for all the youngsters that are trying there hand at the steel. You give them all good support. Hope to see you soon.

Terry, glad your feeling better. I'm glad it was Tyler that had to be your nurse for five week, LMAO... Tyler is a great player and a good guy. I wish him all the best in his venture in Nashville. I'm sure he will bring something refreshing to Nashville. I had a blast jamming with you guys in Dallas. Your still my hero.

Thanks for taking care of our "KID" the last 4 years or so. You done good!! I know that you wouldn't let The Kid make this move until you thought he was ready for it. God Bless you and "THE KID". Tyler will do just fine because he had a GREAT teacher and mentor... Terry, ya DID GOOD! He is a super young man and it's been a privilege to have gotten to know him. He will give Nashville some wonderful music.

Hi Terry, glad to hear you are doing better, and Thanks Tyler for taking care of Terry, while he was on the mend, and A Big Thanks to you Terry for helping this young man in his career and I know shown him the tricks of the trade so to speak. Great job my friend, Tyler is a fantastic young player and I am sure will do very well in Nashville.

Congratulations Tyler, you are already a fine upstanding young man. This has been a wonderful opportunity for you! I believe you are where you are supposed to be!!!
I'm honored to call you friend! It was great seeing you in St. Louis and Apache Junction along with getting to know you in Branson. No, you still can't have my old push pull, LOL!!!
Terry, you have done an outstanding job teaching Tyler. I know he was well on his way when he came to town, but I believe that you have really raised his potential several levels!!! I know that you taught him much more way beyond the instrument about the music business and life in general. Fruits of your labor and love that we may never recognize, that you are a huge part of!!!

I got to see Tyler playing for Mel Tillis on the Grand Ole Opry in Ryman Auditorium on June 12. He did an excellent job, as I knew he would. Best of luck to Tyler in all his future endeavors.

Talked to Tyler today and he is one busy guy. Between rehersals and road gigs he is staying busy.
He wanted me to tell everyone hi and that his schedule will let him play at least one day at the super event
