NOTHING about that guitar/amp.........rings of Rickenbacher.

Does anyone know when the decals came out? The decals appear to be in far superior condition to what the rest of the equipment would suggest.

The fretboard symbols.......the volume/tone knobs and cosmetics likewise don't have the impact that a real Ric leaves one with.

Not knocking the equipment just questioning some glaringly obvious discrepancies.

Decals were used on post-war frypans (solid neck then).
Also there were some repro decals around a couple of years ago, for replacing the old ones.
Maybe the decals were a war time thing (?)
