The high bass A tuning with added chromatic
strings produced this interesting instrumental.
The Chromatic strings are F# and D.

It sounds like pedal steel but does not
have the transition flow between chords.

It takes an 8 string guitar to get this
and an effective palm blocking right hand.

An original composition that softly flows
along. Maybe I should have called it that? Smile

I liked that very much Roy, your changes and experiments are always very interesting and your compositions are good to listen to.

James.

That is a good sound Roy! I like that a tuning a lot, and what you did with it in this cut.

Thanks fellas for the feedback.

I am going to expand on the above by adding
an F# on top which will give me a 9 string
tuning as follows high to low:

F#--D--B--E--C#--A--E--C#--A

That will allow me the 1, 1V, and V7 along with
all those pretty chromatic sounds at any fret.

If I get mixed up I can just play the bottom 6
or A Major and what I remember from my beginner years. Smile
