A deal fell through to build a flight case for a '73 LDG for my pal Ricky Davis, and time is slipping away. If you have a case we could rent or borrow or buy, please contact us. Ricky flys to Europe in a few days for some gigs.

Hi James,

A used keyboard flight case might work for you.

They are a little bit longer than steel guitars are, but some extra foam can take care of that.

James..."Steel Guitar Canada" has one listed for $99.00 that was originally built to house a Marrs D-10, the inside dimensions appear to approximate the older Sho-Buds.

James/Ricky, I have Pelican and Storm case Ricky can use. I use the Pelican for the D10 Bud I bought from Ricky. It has pull and pluck foam. I pack the Bud, legs, bar, volume pedal, picks, and bar. That way I have what I need incase the other (pack-a-seat) or other luggage gets lost. I have a couple extra 1 inch wide pieces of foam we should be able to make it fit. The Pelican and Storm cases are water tight and air tight. I will be out of town Sat and returning Sun. The pelican is a 1740 and the Storm is an iM3100. Look them up and see if one of these will work. Both have wheels. Call me on my cell at 913-238-7065.

Hey Everyone thanks for bearing with me and helping look and brianstorming.
But I HAVE A CASE now. The same case that we had made for Dicky Overbey's steel last year(Kevin Hatton Case); I used to fly to france with last year and worked great. The guy we sold the steel to(Ward Orsinger); will let me use it....and so I'M SET....
Thank you Ward; you complete the great family of Steel players we have in this world.
Ricky
