I have the faintest on this nice T8, This lady has it and asked me to see what it is worth as she wants to sell it. According to her it was mfg'd in the early 50's in Fullerton, CA, Includes a case that is not in too good of shape, it has 3-adj. legs. I have not seen it other than the PICs shown. Thks, rb

It's not a Stringmaster, it's a triple pro (so to speak) and wouldn't be worth as much as a Stringmaster I believe.
To me it looks like a $800 to $900 guitar. Just an opinion of course........ |

Many thanks, fellows, for all the info, I am not the interested party so if anyone is interested let me know as I will need to contact her on the next move. I will share with you that this has not been played for a long time, a local steel player named Bob Couch used to own it yrs ago, he has since passed on, and to add to that, this lady is related to Bruce Zumsteg. She brought me the PICs knowing I play
steel and here we are. _________________ HummHead Studio, SONAR 8.5 Producer, PG Music/Band-In-A-Box, GigaStudio... |

Whether or not the Stringmaster is better than the T-8 Custom is definitely in the ¡Ears¡ of the listener, however; the T-8 Custom has been selling for about $1,200, in reasonable condition for several years now! Don't underestimate it's value. _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

Many thanks, John, this lady bought this when she was 14 and I asked her if it had had the facelift that was mentioned in earlier post and she did say around the mid 80s had someone to add the walnut panel. She is to get back with me as to wether the panel was added to both the front and back. It sounded like it didn't even need it but the gentleman volunteered to do it for her. Thanks again, rb _________________ HummHead Studio, SONAR 8.5 Producer, PG Music/Band-In-A-Box, GigaStudio... |
