Guys, my brother-in-law has a BANJO that used to belong to Sam McGee of the , Sam & Kirk McGee, who used to play on the G O O. It is one of the banjo's that he used on opry. It is in ment condition and has a great sound for a banjo. How much would something like that be worth? He is trying to sell it for a friend. Th guy wants around $3,ooo.

I just looked at the banjo yesterday and it is in mint condition. My wife didn't have her camera with her or I'd post pictures.

The Sam McGee banjo is a , Alverz--Silver Bell. As for the year ofit I have no idea. The guy who owns it now is asking $3495.00.
