On the video with Dawn Sears (If your gonna do me wrong) what kind of controls do you have on the front of your 2 tone guitar just in front of your picking hand or is it 2 pickups that stand out? There is not a front view so it's hard to tell if it is just the pickups or some control Knobs. Hi Ron,
What you see is the ends of the two metal encased 705 pickups...The guitar and pickups are 27 years young and still rocking along......Wish I could say the same for the player......Paul |

Ron thanks for posting that great video. Paul and the TJ's are absolutely the most tastefull group around. I sent the link to the folks in the bands I'm in and they want to learn it. Yeah right, I'm going to do it exactly like Paul. |

Thanks Paul for your response. I did look at mine and at your video a couple more times and I see mine too...I really like your tone,it is just so sustaining and you show the feeling in your playing. Tell your Mom and Dad Ron said hello. Good luck Ben on learning it like Paul. I'm sure you will do it just fine. Thanks Ron _________________ Franklin D10 Stereo - 8 and 6 - Black Box-Zum Encore 4 and 5 Nashville 400,Session 400, DD3 for delay ,also Benado Effects pedal.

Ron,
I appreciate your good taste in country music. I've listened to Dawn Sears and Paul's supporting steel several times. What a tremendous boon to an otherwise famished display of country music talent. |

Thanks all you guys for your inputs on this and I also like Paul's touch in tone and Idea's he has contributed to gives us all something to reach for in playing and Idea's of our own . He couldn't help but be great with the great family he has and support from all of them over the years, and he came from Michigan which is another plus...which had nothing to do with his hard work and determination to be a good as he is.(maybe moving from Detroit was a good idea) Ron _________________ Franklin D10 Stereo - 8 and 6 - Black Box-Zum Encore 4 and 5 Nashville 400,Session 400, DD3 for delay ,also Benado Effects pedal.

Ron,
Keep 'em comin'! I hope there will be more of what makes me want to hear more from Dawn Sears and Paul Franklin. The friendly gathering of fine support musicians combined with Dawn's vocalization, as we listen to Paul's superb enhancements of the pedal steel guitar is 1st class. The performance gives a clear picture of the greatness of both entertainers. |

On the Micheal Martin Murphy cut that ebb posted, that sounds like both the neck and bridge pickups, to my ear. |
