I hope it's not too early to talk about the Mt Vernon, IL show. We have a great show already planned and will be adding more attractions as time nears the 14th, 15th and 16th of April, 2011.
Confirmed to date are as follows: Joe Wright, Mike Johnson, Stev Hinson, Ron Elliott, Zane King,Mike Siegler, Lynn Owsley and Scotty Henderson. I've had numerous calls and requests from players seeking a spot and as you can see I don't have much room for others unless I get some cancelations. There may be some late night spots available.
Our show will be at the Holiday Inn in Mt Vernon Il as usual. We feature free parking and free breakfast buffet for steel show guests staying in the Holiday so make your reservations now.
We will have newcomers day on Thursday as usual and the variety show Thursday evening with a sign in sheet for open mike singers who wish to perform with the house band. This is always a favorite part of the show with local folks so come sing with us.
Thanks once again to all who have supported our show and the wonderful steel guitar. Looking forward to seeing all of you in Mt Vernon......Bobby |

This is the greatest event every year for me. What a super show it is.
It seems like every it's better, and what a super show this one will be.
Bobby, hope you can fit me in again, with the same wonderful musicians
and singers that I played with this year. That sure made me feel good.
