I bought one brand new from Guitar Trader in Red Bank NJ back on '79 (cherry sunburst).
Played it for many years and sold it to a guy who keeps it in his studio.
The frets were very worn by that time and with the neck binding and all I decided it would never be the same with a new fret job.
Served me well!
