Joe - I'm planning on being there but Bev probably won't. Her mother is recovering from a very serious operation and will stay home to help her mom. I assume there will be a bass amp there and I won't need mine? Probably be in late friday night so probably see you Saturday.

Damn, I don't seem to do a good job on my Pa trips. I just got back from 10 days in Grantham (Mechanicsburg) at my brother's and visiting with Wes Dunn (The Keystoners band). I was too late for the other steel jam and too early for this one.

I even got off I81 and took US11 through "beautiful downtown Chambersburg" on the way up on May 28, as I81 was almost a parking lot with all the holiday traffic.

Darn Jack,,,,it sure would have been nice to have a (few) cups of coffee with ya. I do this get together once a year. nothing formal, a ton of steel, fantastic fellowship, and more laugh's than a barrel of drunk monkeys. I'm thinking of doin another in the fall, and let the mountains of Pa. show off their stuff.

Hi Joe Well like I said to you on the Chat Room last night. Anna's Daughter and the two grand Kids will be coming up from Florida the 17th and is going back July 5.So I guess that is going to stop us from coming this time but the Fall sounds good as we should not have any one coming then.

Paul, you can sit behind my rig anytime....and it would be nice if you could please leave a couple licks behind too. Isn't it nice to know that Joe thinks that not only is my guitar sweet but we "both" are Embarassed
You know...when Gary was washing his hair that day....at first I thought it was pretty tacky....but then I realized how much more alert he was when he was playing after that and by golly I think he might be on to something. I am just shocked that Joe didn't get his tail sued for reckless endangerment of a pedal steel and the possible drowning of a fellow steel player.
Seriously....I am looking forward to a little fun with the guys up north. See you all up there

Joe, I got a job subbing for a local steeler who will be unable to play for a few weeks due to health problems. The group is booked for the 26th so, I won't be able to make it down there after all. I sure was looking forward to being there but, this will be a good opportunity not only to help a fellow steeler but, also a very good learning experience for me. If you have another one in Oct. MAYBE I can make it to that one.
