This guitar I made in 2002 while I was awaiting my 12 string Zum from Bruce.
I wanted a practice guitar to learn how to work around the 12 string universal tuning. So, I have in this guitar Duane Marrs end plates, a George L 12-1 pickup and a great piece of Maple wood finished with over 8 coats of lacquer. It is ready for an underneath and changer to be attached to it. It sounds wonderful as is and could remain as a 12 string lap steel with no pedals. It is in perfect condition as it has been used very little since then and been stored wrapped up in a blanket most of the time.
Would be a great 12 string learning steel and could be tuned in the universal or extended E9th. or whatever tuning you desire to take on. Learn your way around that tuning then add the pedals at a later date.
I must begin to get fewer instruments amongst my herd as it is embarrassing when my friends ask how many do you have?
So, the process begins. It will be shipped to you well packed so damage will not occur. I have learned the better way to avoid drops and throws by UPS and Fedex.
