I'll be traveling through Lafayette, LA next Sunday. That evening, I'll be looking to hear some lively local (cajun/zydeco) music. If it has a steel guitar, even better. Any recommended venues? My web searching shows as possibilities: Randol's, Prejeans's, Mulate's (Breaux Bridge), O'Darby's, The Shed, Whiskey River Landing (Henderson), McGee's Landing (Henderson), and La Poussiere (Breaux Bridge). Thanks for any advice. |

Jr. Martin, the Father of Cajun Steel Guitar, lives in Lafayette. He could help you. Don't have a number on him. Jody. |

Check with Danny Cormier at Kajun Steel Guitars. He's in Lafayette & probably knows a bunch of places. You can find his website in the for sale section, got a couple of adds running. Andy H. |

Thanks Andy, that was a winning suggestion. Danny's web site indicated that he will be playing in Breaux Bridge the day I'm passing through, so I'll make sure I get there on time. |
