Announcing - Leveling and adjust height for legs on steelseat. This has been talked about now here is a solution

This shows the base only

Here is a close up of the adjustment

The Photo below shows an Original Model SteelSeat with the adjustment

Currently not available as a retro-fit to existhing legs.

The legs will have to be changed out due to the larger diameter of the foot.

Maximum adjustment 1 1/2" (Original seat in photo is 20" up to 21 1/2")

Legs can be made to any seat height needed.

Very nice, Joe! That ought to correct for an unlevel stage, too. I'm sure enjoying my new Steelseat. Your craftsmanship is outstanding. I love that firm cushion, it stays comfortable for hours.

Wow, what a great idea! I've got two guitars, and one is a little taller than the other. Or maybe one is a little shorter than the other...

Cal - that is exactly what a few others have said - one steel is an 1" taller than another.

So here is a possible solution

Thanks for the note

Joe I have one of WC's seats. Is it possible to just buy new legs with the extenders for it? And if so how much?

OK Scott I can do that but I need some dimensions.

This may come as a surprise but I have never actually seen a seat made by W. C. (only photos)

Thanks for the note ----

I simply want you to varify dimensions. email me so we will not go back and forth on the forum.

joe.naylor@att.net

or my web site has and is being updated too www.steelseat.com (and click on email Joe)

basically need the inside dimensions of the bottom of the box - and the height you have now on both legs from the flat to the tip - then which way you want it to adjust.

(1) It has been my experience that that question should not be answered if asked by a female. If it is ask by a male it is just "RONG"

Further more it has been my experience that if you elevate something to eye level YES it looks larger.

Remember objects in this mirror may appear smaller than they actually are!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the laugh

The difference between a 6'8" man & a midget is the midget sticks his nose in everybody's business ,however the tall man sticks his business in everybody's nose!!

This addition would make you on the level Jack - for a change --- rather than having a slanted view of the world.

This was NOT what I was expecting this to turn into but ...... Oh well

I have had people for a year wanting adjustable legs and now I have it to offer - I think I am the only one (so far) that offers this.

A man KNOWN as "THE HERBSTER" mentioned uneven stage floors etc ---- so it is great for that too.

Thanks for the comments guys
