So are the contestants all going to pick songs from the Miley Cyrus 'catalog'???? THAT would be interesting(?)

Quote:
Miley Cyrus is going to try and give singing advice to Crystal Bowersox, who is going to reveal she has no idea who Miley Cyrus is, which is going to cause Miley's head to explode in a hail of sparkles and ponies and rainbows.

LOL... Smile

Is Loretta Lynn Kitty Well's daughter? I think I read that she's related to another country singer.

I've always been a fan of AI but it has really went downhill this year, yes it truly has jumped the shark!

The show sort of jumped the shark several seasons ago. I haven't been able to stomach a full show for that long but I still check in on it while channel surfing. It isn't the contestants or music that offend me so much as the panel and their endless drivel. There's still some good talent. Crystal and 'Big Mike' look like they could go places this year. Too bad they wouldn't let those two perform first every show so we could tune out and not have to keep checking back to catch them. Laughing

i agree...crystal is already a pro. she'll get some record deals. big mike can sing too. that's it. the rest suck. interestingly enough, miley sounded as bad as the normally lame contestants when she sang the song from her movie. i kind of respect her and her dad though. billy ray changed my opinion of him one year when i did several package gigs including his group. he was a gentleman.

I think it's awesome ! I can't wait for Joe Jonas to give guitar players advice on how to play ! I'm gonna tape that show Cool

I do kinda feel bad for Jay North though, as a teen TV star he never had the chance to mentor or offer acting lessons to anyone.

I'm just thankful someone straightened me out on that Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn thing. I don't think Loretta and Conway were married though.

I have no comment about AI since I don't watch (and wouldn't even at gunpoint) and only occasionally handle some of their peripheral tapes, but I just have to show off a finalist in America's Most Ironic Avatars.

What's his name, Tim Urban?

He's very cat-like, he must have nine lives.

Have to admit there are three that really impress me on the show..Of course anyone with the name of Casey has my vote..But that blond bluesy/Joplin is good enough to be recording right now..She should do well on Country night.
