The classified section. Lots of information about dulcimers under "hammered dulcimer" forum. Anyone can read the information without signing up.

Hammered dulcimers come in many sizes, from beginner to expert, just like steel guitars. They differ in size and string arrangements. There are some nice used ones listed on everything dulcimer in the classified section. It is free to join if your friend wants to sign up and ask questions before buying.
