What a great article! I love the term "significant steel". It sums up in two words what we all love about Lloyd's playing.

I was in Nashville for the NAMM show
this weekend. My friend Bob Knight arranged
for a visit with Lloyd and Dot at their
home. What can I say, except he treated
me like we had been friends for 30 yrs.
Lloyd is a "Monster" player and a super
gentleman. He is a true inovator of pedal steel.
