My vote goes to Martin Weenick. I don't think anything compares to the custom guitars he creates. Just take a look at Don Suleski's new guitar as an example. I have one of Martin's guitars and feel blessed that I do.

Martin Weenick no doubt in my mind. The current blue one is not the first custom made to order. Martin knows how to do this: How to give the customer exactly what they want. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

an ANAPEG. Noel Anstead has already built it for me. Unfortunately, building these beauties is now complete. It is my understanding there will be no more. All I can say is "thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Anstead. I'll take care of it, forever".

Since money is no object here, I would go with the MSA Millennium D10 with 8 & 8 and custom fitted to me. Black of course...........so it will sound good. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

For me, I would want about 3 different guitars. But if you could put them all together to have just one........then I would have
1) a Marlen cabinet, tinted birdseye maple laquer with rope inlay, (Mr stadler did the finest laquer finishes I've ever seen anywhere.)
2) the Marlen cabinet would have the mechanics of a Franklin especially the changer. I would get Mr Frnaklin to beef up the cabinet a bit to make it sturdy as a Franklin psg and also make it "tight" sounding.
3)Finally I would like to have the technology of the new MSA's, particularly the interchangable pickups. |

I don't know about the others, but Hangzhou stopped making steels and is now making bagpipes, bouzoukis and banjos. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.
