Not only that it DOES have plenty of steel on it, it actually sounds like country music used to sound when it still WAS country. And to put the icing on even thicker, the lady sure can sing!

Smile ... J-D.

Great stuff; I like a song that has a good title and grabs you in the first 10 seconds, this does it for me!

The very best of luck with the album.

Who is the steel player on A Slightly Used Woman?

Georgette, I want to commend you for putting out an authentic Country CD there!
People say that you sound like your Mom. I agree, you sound like Tammy a bit when you want to But you are so much your own person and sound like Georgette the most! I listened to the title track and some of the previews and it's all good down home country through and through. With that voice of yours you will sing yourself into the hearts of millions of people who have been waiting to hear some honest country.

Your Mom would have been so proud of you, and I am sure your Dad is as well.

Jamie, you do a wonderful job on steel. Your newly overhauled Franklin sounds killer!
Best wishes and good luck to you both!
Bent

I asked in my "What, in your opinion, is the greatest country music song?" thread. For those asked, "What is country music anyway?" Go buy a copy of this CD, like we did, then you will know!
Love the CD, I keep playing it over and over. Love the video too, It's now on my Iphone.

Hello,

I'm not a Country Music Fan. I love the sound of the Pedal Steel so I listen to a lot of music that uses Pedal Steel. A lot of the music is just Cr*p...

So I wasn't that enthusiastic when I bought your album, but boy was I pleasantly surprised!

Your album is the best country album I have listen to! Actually it's among the top 10 albums all categories!

I also had a listen to your parents and that is good music also! Like Tammy a bit more.

So, THANK YOU for sharing your music with us and I hope there will be many more albums to come!

// Anders

Hey Jamie.

I'm so pleased to tell you that there is Justice in the world.

Hot Country TV (UK) are playing "You And Me And Time"

By Georgette & George Jones

Now to get air play on the BBC, I'll start with local radio.

Another TRIUMPH FOR "COUNTRY MUSIC"
