Gonna try selling this again now that the economy has somewhat leveled off. A friend of mine and Forum member passed away in October 2008.  His name was Bobby Peyton and his wife has asked if I would help her sell all of his equipment.  1974 Emmons Push/Pull 8 X 4 woodgrain mica fatback. Everything on this guitar is original. The case is pretty rough. His wife wasn't exactly sure, but she told me that this guitar was Barbara Mandrell's or her steel player's guitar when he bought it. Mike "Cookie" Jones comfirmed that it was his steel when he played for Barbara. It was Weldon Myrick's steel before that. Read Mike's post about it. Truly is a good guitar. She wants $3100 plus shipping. Continental US only. Great looking and playing guitar. 419-631-4323[/img]

I bought that guitar from Weldon Myrick when mine was stolen from my car. I was still working with Charlie Louvin at the time, just before I got the gig with Barbara. That was the guitar a played on and got the job with Bab's. After that I went to JImmy Crawfords house and played his 10 & 10 Emmons and order a Red wooden body model 10 X 10 that I played for 10 years. That is a great little guitar and Barbara did play on it. Wish I could afford to get it back.

Perhape if the guitar was made available to world wide shipping it would increase the possibility of a sale.
