Been at this PSG self teaching myself via DVD tapes for off and on for a year now . Thought I could tune this thing out by myself, however I've ran into a problem. I'm trying to tune the 6th string G# to A using the "B" pedal and the only Hex Nut I see moving is the one for the 3rd string G# to A using the B pedal but that doesn't seem to be working. When I turn the Hex nut it's changing the tuning on the 3rd string. I don't see any other Hex nuts moving. Any and all help would be appreciated. |

Don, I'll assume you have an all pull changer...if not, this process might not work.
Just look under the guitar and find the pull rod that's connected to the B pedal's crossrod, and which goes to the 6th string. Push the B pedal and observe the rod's action at the changer. If the changer finger isn't moving, you'll need to turn the nylon tuning nut, on the end of the rod, tighter until the pedal pulls the note to A. Don't force it if it gets real tight.
If that doesn't work, the rod length may need to be shortened, or the distance the pedal moves might need to be increased.
Keep us posted and we'll get you on the right track. _________________ Best regards,
