The Florida Steel Guitar Club will hold their 1st Anniversary Meeting and Show on Saturday, September 13, 2003. The Show will start at Noon and run to approx 7:30PM (with a dinner break). The Show will be at our home, Catfish Johnny’s Restaurant, County Route 470, Exit 321 on I75, Lake Panasoffkee, Fl (approximately 60 miles west of Orlando and the same distance north of Tampa).

We will feature Club members and local talent on the show. A new shipment of Club T-Shirts will be available for purchase at the Show. We will also have a “swap shop” area for club members.

The Steelers that have committed, and will donate their talent for the show are: Roy Ayres, Jack Dougherty, John King, Austin Preston, Lou Rochelle, Bob Schorrell, Jack Stoner, Don Sulesky, Bud Vanderberg and Earl Williams. Blake Hawkins has agreed to do his usual excellent work handling the MC duties.

As with all our Club meetings/jams, there are no Club membership dues and there will be no admission charge for the show, it’s free. We will have a 50/50 drawing with half to the winner and half to the backup band. If we can come up with some additional door prizes they will be drawn from the 50/50 tickets.

As more information becomes available, we will update our Club web page, on Jack Stoner’s personal web site: http://web.tampabay.rr.com/jstoner1/fsgc%20meeting.htm
