I thought it would be nice to have a thread for the Jackson steel owners to post their pics. I've seen similar threads for other brands, so why not? Jackson are making some very cool custom guitars in a array of models and colours. I'd really like to see these guitars. Who's gonna be first? _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

This was about 4 weeks ago right after David got it stained, and he mocked it up for the pictures. He sent me pictures to see how I liked it, and if I in fact did want to keep the top natural or go ahead and make it all tobacco. They are great folks and are very easy to work with. Incidentally, I chose to leave it like this, but there will be some fading to black at the ends of the cabinet and necks. I think it will be ready next week. More pictures to come

Great to see you in Dallas this year as well, Chuck! Your guitar looks incredible. I think I may change out my black and gold fretboard for a black and white one like yours, to increase visibility on stage.
Here is the second pic. I fixed it for you.

Thanks a million for the kind words, Gary. It was a pleasure seeing you, as always, and playing your beautiful guitar. The white necks and pickups are truly stunning. I'd like to have a similar SD10 some day! And you summed up the Jacksons very well. No other company can come close to them in customer service. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

D10 Blackjack [Apologies for the poor quality photo.]
I don't have one, but these are the 2 that Rusty Rhoads had with him at our Louisville club last month.
I'm very impressed with the designs and engineering on these guitars. These 2 models were very different from each other, but each has unique features. Refreshing to see something else besides "me too" more of the same designs.
Of course Rusty sounded incredibly good on that Blackjack. That guitar looks like a great players guitar with thin alum. necks, machined tuner pan plates, lowers on left end. Perfect fitting parts and gleaming bright work.
Great looking and feeling guitar. I didn't get a price on it though. |

Well Chris here is my Jackson. It will not be sold as long as I'm still around as it is one great guitar.
As you know Chris I have had many guitars the past few years but this one is a gem. Thanks to David and Harry Jackson two great people.
Charlie

My new Madison 63 has been floating through Georgia the past four days because of the flood in Tennessee. It's scheduled to arrive in Albuquerque May 12th. Once it gets across the mississippi, it will be well on it's way to New Mexico. I'll post pics when it arrives. |

Mike.......that guitar is gorgeous. Visually, it's so reminiscent of an old Bud, but by no means a copy. I bet it sounds as beautiful as it looks. |
