I've been watching the NWS radar map and for the past couple of days Nashville, and most of Tennessee has been getting pounded with rain and tornado capable weather. The big red snakes of heavy weather (radar signatures) have stretched from Texas to Ohio with Nashvegas right in the gunsights.
Hope you Nashville steelers got your hatches battened down. We're thinkin' 'bout ya.

| Thanks Ray, Yep, most interstates are closed. 1/2 mile from our home is 12 feet of water, and more on the way. Im glad we live on a very high Hill. thanks, take care. Ron |

We have a creek - of sorts - running along the front of the property by the street. I tends to dry up in mid-summer. Last night, however, we had a flash flood. It washed away much of the rock and gravel that covered two 54" culverts. Just enough room to get a car out if we had to.
Worse yet - we woke up to NO WATER. Our water feed crosses the creek. Wouldn't ya know it? Something came crashing down the creek and wiped out the water line. Ya just know that the meter was on the street side. The rain finally subsided just enough for me to slog to the meter. Yep! It was running full blast. Ran back to the house, got a wrench, and closed the valve.
Lord knows how long I was contributing to the level in the creek with that water line running wide open. Gonna have to try to lean on the water company for a break on my bill.
To use a well-worn phrase: I DON'T NEED THIS $$$$$$$ $$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As disgruntled as we are at this moment, we still find the time to cuddle and pamper our two Persian cats. Perhaps there's something more important than a busted water line. We'll manage.

good luck guys and girls i know all about fooding i have seen as much as 5 feet of water in my dads house when i was a kid i had a gibson guitar it was floating in the kitchen so i know a little about high water again good luck

Nashville is getting hit hard! We're in Goodlettsville, north of Nashville.
We're lucky to have just alittle of water in the garage and at the bottom of the stairs. Flooding and power outages everywhere. Our prayers go out to everyone in middle Tennessee. |

| It's looking like we will be spending another night in the bus. We are stranded on I-40 just west of town. We played in SanAntonio last night. Even if we get back to town it doesn't look like any of us can get home. |

According to the local TV stations, Lebanon presumably got slammed pretty hard this morning. Don't want to alarm you but don't be too surprised at what you might find.

| The creek near my house here in Hardin, KY overflowed and I had water in my workshop and storage shed. It came within about a half inch of coming through the doors into the house. Some water came through from the air HVAC vents. This is exactly 1 year to the day when our house was flooded by heavy rains. Close call here for sure, but not like middle Tennessee got. My heart goes out to all in that area. |

I am stuck in Franklin on Monday. Tried to get out but can't. All roads in and out are blocked by flooding from the Harpeth creek ( river)..
