I believe that is so but it now has wooden necks. Hopefully Bobbe will see this thread and elaborate.

It is definitely Sonny Burnett......below is link to Bobbe's site talking about the guitar.

Anybody know the fiddle and bass players? At first glance I thought it was Gordon Terry on fiddle but it isn't.

Paul,
Bud Isaacs involvement with Webb Pierce was only his appearance on two recording sessions (which undoubtedly changed the course of country music). Bud was Red Foley's steel player and turned down an offer from Webb to join his band. Webb was desperate to keep the pedal steel sound in his band and so he bought Johnny Sibert's Bigsby and had Sonny Burnette play it on all of his subsequent hits like "More And More", "Love, Love, Love" and "I'm Tired".

Yes, this is the steel Bobbe now owns. Shot Jackson put the wood necks on in the early sixties for some skinny kid from Alabama named Lloyd Green. Smile

Just shows to go ya; it's where we're all headed but I must admit, I'm having a lot of fun gittin' R dun !!
