The Oklahoma Steel Guitar Assn's 16th Annual Memorial Weekend Jamboree will be held Friday, May 28th and Saturday, May 29th, 2010. Again this year the show will be held at the American Legion Post 308 Hall, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 11328 E. Admiral Blvd. That's just a short 1/2 bk. east of Garnet, on Admiral Blvd. about half way between I-244 and I-44.

The OSGA will provide the bands for the dance this year. The first set will feature Curt Shoemaker with Les Gilliam. The second set will feature The Saggy Bottom Boys with OSGA club member Dewain May on Steel. The Dance is included in the show admission, and we invite everyone to stay and enjoy this extra portion of the show.
Saturday the show will begin at 9 AM and go until 11 PM, and then 11 PM till.. we will have a BIG DOG JAM,
Don't miss it !!!

Admission will be $10 for Friday, including the Dance, $15 for Saturday, or $20 for both days. Food will be sold by the OSGA on site both days.

Hotel Accomodations are available at the Econo Lodge, I-44 and 11th St., 11620 E. Skelly Drive. That is just one mile due South on Garnet from the American Legion Hall. We look forward to seeing many old friends from the past 15 years as well new ones. Come and enjoy a great weekend with us.

Gary, hope this is a "smoke free" event. Last time we were over there some individual had a stinkin smoke stuck in his mouth the whole day. Several guests didn't appreciate it. Hope we can make it over. We always have a great time and enjoy the music. Jack

Hey Gary,
Once again I would like to apologize for NOT being able to make it to your show this year. I have enjoyed working the Tulsa show for many years now, and I will really miss seeing all of my Oklahoma friends.
I really hope we will be able to work things out for next year.
For the folks that don't know, I have joined the sales staff at Allen Samuels Autoplex in Ennis,Tx. Since I am NEW at the job it was not possible to get off work over Memorial Day weekend.

Sincerely,

Paul Polish

Just one additional revision. We still show Fred Justice playing Saturday night at 10:10 - 10:35,when actually Fred won't be there.
Playing in that time slot will be Wayne Morton.

Scotty,
Couiorisity is good! The drumming duties will be devided up between our club drummer Don Sellers,as well as Clark Cox, and Harold Blake.
On Bass will be B.J. Richards, Fred Tobin, and we might even get Austin Stewart in there too. Haven't heard from Larry King yet.

Looking forward to seeing you and Terisa again. Just 8 short days!

Austin said he would have his bass if you needed him. Scotty, he said if he played for your set, he would need charts. Very Happy

We are looking forward to being there and hearing all the picking and singing and seeing all our friends again! Everyone have a safe trip.
