Bob's got it - it is Connie with John Hughey. Weldon Myrick played on the vast majority of Connie's RCA recordings (also Russ Hicks and Hal Rugg can be heard on some tracks). Connie left RCA and recorded several albums for Columbia. Many different players can be heard on these albums: Weldon Myrick, John Hughey, Lloyd Green, Jimmy Day and Buddy Emmons. If you get a hold of her Columbia recordings, you won't be disappointed! Smile

Kind Regards, Walter

Sometimes it can be a little close in identifyng which Steel Player, but Connie Smith is one of a kind and I can't remember her voice or style being replicated by anyone else. When Connie sings you know it's her !
