I am about to order some George L cables in the "kit form" so I can make em up myself. I was wanting some feedback on the strait plugs versus the 90's and how anyone that would like to comment feels about this. Coming out of the guitar with a 90 and lengths etc. any feed back or comment is appreciated Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill,
If it is any good to You here's what I have.
The plug at the guitar endplate is a right angle, much neater than a straight. The connections to, and from the volume pedal are straight, the angle ones may obstruct the movement of the pedal.
The connection at the amp can be either, depending on the structure of the amp at the input area,I prefer an angle jack(if it sits in place ok)
If You use effects(stomp boxes and the like)it will be fairly obvious which jacks to use to be neat and prevent striking the other connections.
George L's are great.A point to remember is that the cable in the straight jack is held in place with screw, they are very solid and trouble free.
The right angle jacks have a thumbscrew which holds the cable, this too is very stable but sometimes,(only rarely)the screw can back off a fraction due to handling and can cause a bad connection, check the tightness of this screw occasionally.
Best regards
Billy

Thanks Billy, I was just trying to kinda see what others do, as a comparison. You know how networking does for you. Sometimes you get great ideas from others, or at times when you least expect it. Thanks so much for your reply. I encourage anyone else with you ideas or set ups Thanks
Bill

I agree with Billy -- and another handly little tool is the George L cable tester, this really helps to confirm your completed cable is making the connections and also helps in identifying faults as well, should they occur.
The newer right angled "Master" series plugs are worth checking out as well - a little more robust and ideal for the guitar connection.
