This brings back a flood of fond memories from our band opening for Faron Young and Ben & Odell doing a tour in Europe. Odell was a show stopper for me and I still have a stiff jaw from watching him cut up. Ahhh !! Those were the days. Cool Cool Very Happy Very Happy

Not to veer away on the thread Paul, but did you ever see Odell do the pedal steel lick while keeping the thumb style going? He would play "Heartaches by the Number" like that and when you said how amazing it was, he would say. "I'm just being bad". A great guy who left us way too soon.

Clyde: Yes !! I saw him do that at a place called Daniel Boone Park, somewhere west of Raleigh. And I always used to get goose bumps listening to him play Fire On The Mountain long before the MT Band got hold of it...
