What does the Fox mod do for a Nashville 400? How would you compare modded 400s to Fender Steel Kings? No, I'm not trying to start an argument. I have just started playing after several years away from steeling, so I have much to learn and catch up on. I am really looking and value for your opinions and experiences. Thanks. _________________ Hey, mister, how do you pedal that thing anyway?

Too many steels, amps & other stuff, and an open mind. I have tube amp bias. |

Thanks, Mr. Cawby. Can you explain why you like the Fox mod and what the differences are between the two? _________________ Hey, mister, how do you pedal that thing anyway?

Jim, Ken is a wizzard with electronics. I've had both and a modded 400 would be my choice. Not only did it have a sweeter sound, the base 400 is bullet proof vs. some reported reliability issues with the FSK. |
